A Bird May Love A Fish by allison712 A Bird May Love A Fish by allison712
...but where would they build a home together?

I don't know if that phrase originates from "Fiddler on the Roof" or if it's some ancient proverb...Whatever the case may be, I like the artistic interpretations that can be made :D Not all that original  Oh well, I like it.

The phrase you just spoke is from the movie "Ever After" here Cinderella is talking about being in love with the prince. She refers to herself as the fish and the prince as the bird. I love your rendition of it. The thought is really interesting. It would be a magnificent story. I love your picture. Aw inspiring, a muse!

I think it's from the medieval times. Have you seen the movie "Ever After"? Danielle asks DaVinci, "A bird may love a fish, signore, but where would they live?"
Response: "Then I shall have to make you wings."

Hehe. Anyway, it's a gorgeous picture. :)

The way I heard it first was "A bird may love a fish m'lord, but where would they live?" and I heard it from Ever After. It was the characted Danielle talking to Leonardo. I love that movie. I never got to finish Fiddler though.
This is a beautiful concept, and I love the way you portrayed it.

This actually reminds me of the movie Ever After. Great movie and the main character says that line to Da Vinci ... "A bird may love a fish, signore, but where would they live?". Lovely!

Yes, a lot of people seem to recognize the quote from Ever After more readily than from Fiddler on the Roof. Maybe it's because the latter is almost 40 years old :XD: Anyway, thank you so much!

No problem, I really do love that pic and ... yes you are very correct ... I only said it because it does kinda fit, and Fiddler is more of a classic that most people either know or don't, so we just let it stay that way.
