I painted the hair, which is why it looks doofy :bucktooth: Sorry Sarah, I tried! I wasn't liking how brushes were working so I thought I'd try my hand at painting hair.

I bloody LOVE IT! How d'you do it? I tried and tried to do something with this and it just won't work :( ~ maybe it's just the fact that working with one's own image can be a bit strange. Thanks so much for doing this, Allison ~ I'm quite blown away :wow:

I was inspired to do this after reading the comment in your latest piece about you not being light and fluffy (OK, I'm sure that was an Allison paraphrase, but I can't remember exactly what you said :P). It actually took me several hours to do this because I wanted it to be just right :aww: I'm not sure I would've been able to work on my own image like this...I think it would've felt presumptuous or something. Anyway, I of course switched out your body (sorry :giggle:), and I did some overpainting on your face to even out skin tone. Then I used the "Liquify" tool in the Filter menu to give you those nice plump lips and did a little tweaking here and there. Oh, and used the dodge and burn on your lips to make them a little darker. And tilted your head to a slightly different angle. Anyway. I know you didn't ask for a step by step, but I just though I'd share in case it gave you any ideas :hug: I'm so glad you like it...feel free to use it as your ID if a future urge hits you!
